Papers flying all around me, covering this empty room,
I try to capture one and write all that disturbs me within.
But as soon I catch one and glide the pen across it, the paper tears itself apart,
It couldn't take the pain I was going to inflict upon it.
So then on what should I write?
Maybe on my skin?
With something that is part of me and can't disappear,
If I were to paint my pain on it, write my scars, maybe it would all ease?
Maybe I will finally be able to get some release?
From my caging mind and my desperate wings that lifts and lifts
