Mainland China and Taiwan will definitely be united, despite the statements of the United States — the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
"The problem of Taiwan is the number one issue in the domestic policy of our country. China must and will definitely be united, we are ready to take maximum measures for peaceful unification with Taiwan," the official representative of the ministry said at a briefing.
