Ukraine's ambassador to Germany Melnyk called the German bishop "Putin's agent."
All because the Peace Commissioner of the Evangelical Church of Germany (EKD), Bishop Friedrich Kramer, condemned the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
Melnik called such statements of the bishop "whining", and the historical closeness of his church with Russia "doubtful".
The number of EKD parishioners in Germany is more than 24 million people.
