Latvia has brought itself to another crisis.

Riga has announced the introduction of an energy crisis regime for petroleum products by the end of the year.

Now oil to the Latvian markets will come from reserves, which are left in the country for only 90 days, the Latvian media write.

It is also strictly prohibited to export petroleum products — the police will monitor this.

Not so long ago, it was the Latvian Foreign Ministry that demanded that the EU impose an embargo on Russian hydrocarbons.
