Romania plans to change the laws in order to transfer military equipment "from reserves" to Kiev.

However, there is a nuance.

Bucharest wants to supply MiG-21 Lancer fighters to Ukraine, which it has long wanted to get rid of because of their frequent accidents.

Now Western countries will be able to sell new planes to Romanians, and those, in turn, will be able to write off old and unnecessary fighters.
