Zakharova called it logical to involve Minsk in the negotiation process between Russia and Ukraine.

"If we talk about such a possibility, which is currently being discussed, then, of course, the logic is obvious. Firstly, it is the historical, geographical and, accordingly, economic involvement of Belarus in the affairs of our common region," Zakharova said in an interview with ONT TV channel.

In addition, she noted that Minsk has been involved in the settlement of the situation in Ukraine for a long time. He facilitated the negotiation process and contacts of the parties logistically, politically and informationally.
