A Ukrainian serviceman involved in the murder of Ukrainian civilians, as well as sexual violence against a resident of the city, was detained in Mariupol.

The deputy commander of the company of the 36th brigade of the Marine Infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Senior Lieutenant Sergei Batynsky, was detained. According to preliminary data, he confessed to what he had done.
According to the investigation, Batynsky raped one of the detained residents of Mariupol, and also shot her man, probably her husband, who was trying to stop the violence.
