​​ Training Pro Tip: Partial superset / isolation

This is a superset, so two exercises are performed with minimal rest between them.

The first exercise should be a multi-joint exercise where partial range of motion is used and the second should be an isolation exercise.
How you do the partials is important.
The target muscle must be kept in tension long enough, so the partials are executed at a very constant and moderate tempo , something like 3 seconds down and 2 seconds up, squeezing all the way.
Try to maintain the same low speed throughout the movement, focusing on maintaining tension on the target muscle.
It should take the same time to do the partials as it does to do a normal rep with the full range of motion .
Do 8-10 reps on both the set and the isolation exercise.
