It has become commonplace western media and armadas of geopolitical think tankers to paint today’s Russia-China alliance as a matter of either “momentary convenience”, or as a strained partnership between two competing authoritarian regimes with global imperial aspirations.

However, if one simply looks at the facts as they are without the filter of “experts” telling you how to interpret reality, it becomes extremely clear that those cynical geopolitical assessments painted by geopolitical opinionators are doing little more than trying to analyze life through lenses that only see dead corpses. It isn’t that such analysts aren’t necessarily concerned with the truth (although more than a few aren’t), but due to their fundamental axioms, their limited minds cannot contemplate a system organized by a non-Hobbesian parameters either past, present or future. It is for this reason that such opinionators cannot understand the nature of the Russian-China alliance nor can they see or understand the stark parallels in the asymmetrical war efforts to destroy either Eurasian power.

2022-05-17 11:45:15 Pope Francis cannot be all things to all men. He can take either Patriarch Kirill’s Road to Damascus, or von de Leyen’s road to NATO serfdom.

He cannot take both.

Although the EU’s plans to slap American sanctions on His Holiness Kirill, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, is scandalous, they pale in comparison to the staggering ignorance Pope Francis displayed when green-lighting those sanctions.

2022-05-17 10:45:13 The West is facing a systematic crisis both economically and socially and it appears to have no solutions but more money printing and war. Neither of which will help.

While most of the world’s attention is focused on the Ukraine, there are events happening in Sri Lanka that should alarm everyone. Sri Lanka is a small independent island nation off the southern tip of India. Relatively insignificant in the global context it may prove to be the “canary in the coal mine” that portends a wider global and economic crisis.

A long corrupted and badly run country, it has announced that it can no longer meet its international debt obligations. Like so many others, Sri Lanka was devastated by Covid, without tourism and trade its lacks the foreign currency essential to pay its debt.

With some $56 billion in foreign debt it has been forced to return to the IMF to seek further loans to pay for imports of food, energy and medicines.

2022-05-17 09:45:12 For anyone who has been seriously following the conflict in Ukraine it is obvious that Western governments and media have been a total travesty in what they are claiming about that country.

The Western news media were made to look like laughing stocks this week with the evacuation of civilians from the Azovstal steel plant in Mariupol, the Black Sea port city in southern Ukraine.

Not just laughing stocks, but actually proponents of deceitful war propaganda. This should be a matter of excruciatingly deep shame for the Western media and indeed the basis for future prosecution over war crimes complicity.

2022-05-11 23:15:16 We are not learning from the history books on how superpowers were defeated by, among other things, the sheer number of troops they are fighting.

While the news from America is that Joe Biden has asked for a whopping 33 billion dollars in military aid to Ukraine sinks in, there should be pause for thought on both sides of the pond.

Is this a winning strategy in Ukraine?

Is the battlefield really so simple that all it is about is tipping the balance of military hardware in favour of the Zelensky government to defeat the Russians?

If we look at the statements which keep being dutifully published by western media of Zelensky’s pleas to the west, it would appear that his demands do not correspond with what is being offered, which should spark a debate in western media which asks some pretty basic questions. As the Ukrainian forces slowly diminish, doesn’t the present strategy sending more equipment actually backfire against those who send it?
