On the patterns of belts, you can often see a swastika, which came to the Old Believers from the local Komi - they adopted this ornament from the Ugrians in the Middle Ages, and the Ugrians, in turn, from the Indo-Iranians in the Bronze Age. For example, in the photo above, on the left, there is a belt with a swastika pattern from a private collection. To the right of it is the prayer dress of the Old Believers of the Verkhokamye of the Pomor and Fedoseevsky accords: a shirt-"sleeves" made of dark cotton and a black satin sundress dubas, trimmed along the edge with red fabric - a distinctive feature of the prayer sundress.
