US Confirm Military Hackers Conduct Offensive Ops in Support of Ukraine (Sky News)
NSA & Cyber Command Chief Gen. Paul Nakasone has confirmed that American military hackers have been assisting Ukraine in offensive, defensive and preemptive operations in response to Moscow’s military campaign.
Nakasone told Sky News in Tallinn that he was worried of the risk of Russian cyberattacks "every single day", insisting that whereas Moscow begins information operations with a lie, Washington tries to "strategically tell the truth".
He stated a ‘One Hunt Forward’ team – US cyber specialists deployed abroad - had been in Kiev from December 2021 until shortly before the conflict began.
