Systematix Daily Market Updates:Domestic Markets:Benchmark indian equity indices closed lower after a positive start on Wednesday. Sensex and Nifty dropped 0.64% and 0.67% to close at 51,941.64 and 15,635.35. All sectoral indices were in red at market close.
Global Markets:US market ended lower on Wednesday as market participants awaited inflation data for clues as to when the U.S. Federal Reserve might tighten its dovish monetary policy. Nasdaq and Dow Jones dropped 0.09% and 0.44% respectively. European stocks struggled for direction on Wednesday as investors braced for the next reading of U.S. inflation due Thursday. FTSE and DAX dropped 0.20% and 0.38% whereas CAC gained 0.19%. Asian markets Asian shares edged higher in today’s early trade. SGX Nifty indicate a positive start for index in India.
