I don't feel like I belong here.
I live like people are projects. I'd stay until they're okay, until they've got their feet on the ground. Once they do, I am inane, I can't find my place. I run. Loner.

I don't feel like I belong here.
I always have a hard time creating my space. Hard time adjusting to changes. I take longer in getting closure that I ruin what I have, what I get on the way. Which eventually end, and I would need to adjust again. People move me like I don't matter. Maybe I don't. Exhausting.

I don't feel like I belong here.
I've always wondered, who would actually feel like they've lost something if they lose me. What if I stop fighting, who'd fight for me. If I vanish, how long would you look, how long would you wait? Edgy.

I don't feel like I belong here.
I miss home. Yet I wonder would I know if I was, home. How would I know, how would I relate, to what would I relate. Safe. Happy. Settled. Free. Stable. There's no to have it all, so which one is it? Lost.

I don't feel like I belong here.
I've always hidden behind masks. Even when I was too young. Maybe it's a reflex, or maybe I got it from my mother. Nobody knows me. How would somebody care if they don't know? I hate that I write, but I can't write all I feel. I disgust on my spineless.

Title: You and I - III


... But you couldn't stay gone.
What a windy night. It was Lord Huron taking me away with his 'The night we met'. Damn I love the wind, feels as if it blows off all my thoughts, like I'm free from my mind.

My phone buzzed. My heart skipped a beat as I saw your name lying on the screen.
It's not like it's the first time after months, but my heart, my naive foolish heart couldn't get used to it.
I think took the call after taking a deep breath.
You wanted to ruin my loneliness as you were behind me. I turned and there you were coming closer in every step, and for a second everything went blank.
It was the same smile, same scent, eyes, You.

After an awkward talk about how life has been holding up, we sat somewhere we used to. Part of me felt like I went back in time. Holding your hands, just falling for you more with every minute of the moment.
The wind was no longer blowing away my thoughts, rather hitting me with waves of nostalgia.
I shook my head to come back to reality. And as I woke you were talking about 'us', "I want another chance, for real this is the last time. I'm so sorry for what had happened, but I'm okay now, I know what I want... you".

I don't think you knew you had said the exact same thing last time.
I guess I saw this coming but I wasn't ready yet, I didn't rehearse enough, I didn't heal enough to run away. I think you could hear my heart pounding, I think everyone passing by could.

"You broke your promise, I can't anymore". I really felt something die inside as you replied, "but it was you who broke it off, I still kept my promise".
After cornering me like that, torturing me for months of your silence and ignorance, you were the victim.
Sure I'll take the blame, but it was alredy too late, I was too broken and exhausted to even put up with myself.

Title: You and I - II


... Breaks.
Started as a normal day, I called. But as usual you forgot and came late.
The anger, disappointment and terror vanished at the sight of your face.

All my heart cared about was You, and you're here now. Struggling to show you a calm, confident girl, I kept my hands in between my tighs, as they had went dead cold and even shaking.

I wasn't sure how to start, how about small talk I thought, "how was your day?", you didn't really answer me. Just looked at me so annoyed by the fact that I made you came all the way. Yet managed to give me a fake smile.
Fake meant trying right. It's good, so I told myself.
Defeaning silence. I can hear my heart beat so fast.

I built up the courage to ask another question, here we go "Why are you so distant and unhappy when you're with me, am I the problem?" once again you looked at me so annoyed. Trying not to repeat the same excuse you've been giving me for the last couple of weeks, which kinda feels like years actually.
"I've already told you, it has nothing to do with you". Maybe it doesn't, but I knew what held you penned, it's that stupid promise you made when you were craving, the promise that made me love you with everything I had, that same shitty promise that stole my innocence.

My heart screaming No, I blurted "you can go", you looked at me confused as you just got here. I'm not sure what you were expecting, but this wasn't it.

"You're not the one ending it, I am. And goddamn it's not because I don't love you. I don't wanna say more, just go, we're done". Then came the real awkward silence.
As you stood up I felt a tear roll down my cheek. I bow my head quick, so you wouldn't pity me. I finally got you speechless didn't I.
You hugged me as you pulled me up. I couldn't hold it anymore. I felt my heart drown. You kissed me. You turned. You went... Open / Comment
