Following up from our previous infographic on brain states, here's another to illustrate the outcomes of the interactions of brain states between parent and child.

The human brain takes on a back-to-front development. As adults, our brains are fully matured biologically; the parts responsible for self-regulation and control are in place for us to be able to better manage our emotions. Not so for our children and teenagers, as those parts of the brain are the last to develop and mature, usually in the twenties.
