When we extend genuine compassion to our children, we not only help them tune into their own emotions, but we also help them turn toward us.
Some of us might be enjoying many a good conversation with our children, having them listen in to our inputs and building life together; some of us might be in situations where our communication with them have been marred by difficult and sometimes incomprehensible behaviours.
Whichever case it may be, there is always time to build and nurture this relationship with our children, so long as they are in our care.
