On Tuesday, Apple's CEO Tim Cook released a statement announcing that the tech company would invest more money into their Racial Equity and Justice Initiative. The $30 million investment comes after Apple initially invested $100 million to start the fund in January.
The new funds will focus primarily on advancing education and career-development opportunities for Hispanic people. There are three sections of the investment: education, entrepreneurship, and criminal-justice reform.
Apple is one of many large corporations that have set up funds focusing on diversity over the past year.
