Just know that part of the reason we make subscriptions an option is because we get folks asking how they can assist, and because we've spent thousands of dollars on court documents, filings, and transcripts over the years. For perspective, the federal court system (PACER) is a rip off. If you want to see what is in a 30 page filing - a document that may be totally useless - it costs $3.00. That happens a lot. Transcripts from court reporters typically cost from $50 - $125 depending on the page length. No matter what your ability or situation, there is a lot of love from us. I love this app. We're branching out to Substack for more substantive writing (we'll continue with Telegram, Twitter, Gab, and Parler when it's back up and running) and I want to explain our plans for those interested. Substack provides me the opportunity to discuss things that require more nuance and depth. Most content even on Substack will be free. No pressure to subscribe, just do as your heart leads you.
