In fact, the DOJ has previously argued that an officer "willfully" violated a victim's constitutional rights (and thus violated federal law) where the offending officer had training on the use of force.
DOJ Argument in previous case: "The jury could therefore have viewed Brown’s prior training as evidence that his conduct was willful."
We'll have an article going into further detail on how the DOJ was wrong and misled the public in the Ashli Babbitt in the coming days.

Thank you all for your help and suggestions on the US Capitol Police use of force policies. HUGE help.
We're looking at the policies provided at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers, found here:https://www.fletc.gov/use-force
This matters because, as explained in our article on the Ashli Babbitt case, the DOJ alleges they can't prove the US Capitol Police Officer acted "willfully." The training materials will likely prove otherwise.

An important call for help on the Ashli Babbitt case:
We are looking for US Capitol Police use of force guidelines. In particular, the guidelines that set forth the rules for the use of deadly force. Please comment below if you find them. (I've searched for hours and no luck.)

We have more documents unsealed in the Ghislaine Maxwell case.
From 2016:
DOJ officials KNEW Maxwell had possessed nude photos of children.
Epstein was "tipped off" to a search warrant of his Palm Beach home.
The DOJ Knew back then that they could prosecute Maxwell/Epstein.
Our latest - including the actual DOJ notes:

Ghislaine Maxwell moves for a continuance of the July 12 trial date.
Argument: new charges require more investigation.
Needs more time to review newly produced "20,000 pages of interview notes" and 2,100 "Highly Confidential" photos.

The DOJ declines to prosecute the officer who shot and killed Ashli Babbitt.
Their press release on the investigation was dishonest.
What the DOJ isn't telling you: they have charged officers for lesser offenses - and with less proof.

Full story from the NYT:
https://www.nytimes.com/2021/04/12/us/politics/durham-investigation-brookings-institution.html
Quote:
"Durham has obtained documents from the Brookings Institution related to Igor Danchenko, a Russia researcher who worked there a decade ago and later helped gather rumors about Mr. Trump and Russia for that research, known as the Steele dossier, according to people familiar with the request."

New York Times: Special Counsel Durham is focusing (in part) on Steele Dossier primary sub-source Igor Danchenko.
There should be false statement charges against Danchenko for lying to the FBI about his contacts w/ Russian intel.
If anything, this is progress in the right direction (a focus on a witness deserving scrutiny).
