Mastercard introduced a payment system for purchases using facial recognition - Biometric Checkout Program.

It will be possible to register in the system through the application of the store for the home or in one of the outlets. Stores can also integrate a feature to search for and use user loyalty cards.

Mastercard assures that all data is encrypted and not a real picture of your face is transmitted to stores, but a generated token.
