SpaceX has become the most valuable private company in the US - it is valued at $125 billion

The ongoing sale of SpaceX shares in the secondary market has raised the valuation of the Elon Musk-led company to $125 billion.

Now SpaceX shares are trading at $72 a share, which is a significant increase compared to October last year, when they were worth $56 (adjusted for a 10 to 1 split), and the company was valued at $100 billion. No new shares were issued as part of the secondary offering, but according to a Reuters source, SpaceX has told investors it could happen before the end of this year.
