Modern Meadow, which #TemasekInvests in, has engineered a strain of yeast that can produce collagen — one of the main ingredients used to produce leather — through fermentation. This cruelty-free method of producing leather is gentler on the planet and improves animal welfare!

Here’s why this is important: our current manufacturing processes are unsustainable in the long run, and we urgently need better solutions to meet our needs without harming the environment.
