Unlimited Live Streams
• Broadcast video and share your screen to an unlimited number of viewers.
• To begin, tap 'Video Chat' (in Groups) or 'Live Stream' (in Channels) on the profile page of a community where you are an admin.

Flexible Forwarding
• Tap the ‘Forward Message’ label above the input field to preview or change how messages will be sent.
• Hide or show the original sender’s name.
• Remove or keep captions from media messages.
• Select and Unselect messages to change which ones will be forwarded.

Jump to Next Channel
• Scroll through channels you follow without going back to your chat list.
• When you reach the bottom of a channel, pull up to go to the next unread channel.

Trending Stickers
• Discover Trending Stickers above the ‘Recently Used’ section in your sticker panel.
• Easily locate your sticker packs — when scrolling the top bar, the thumbnails enlarge to give you a better view.
• Know when your chat partner is looking for stickers – their status will show “Ch sing a sticker”.

Unread Comment Counters
• See how many unread comments there are when opening a channel's comments.

• When you enter one emoji in the message bar, sticker suggestions appear – now with larger previews.
• Pull upward on the suggestions panel to see more stickers.
• Improved Search for Internal Sharing. Frequent Contacts and Recent Search results now appear when you tap 'Search' while sharing messages inside Telegram.

New in Telegram Desktop
• Choose one from dozens of new gorgeous animated backgrounds in Chat Settings > Chat background.
• Added ability to set custom auto-lock timer.

• Set stickers or GIFs as your profile video — or as profile videos for your groups or channels.

According to research published last week, Telegram became the 7th most downloaded application worldwide in 2020. This is not surprising: for the last several years, Telegram has been the most feature-rich and user-friendly messaging app in the world.

And yet, every single feature we add makes me think of new improvements we are yet to implement. It’s like reaching a peak of a mountain only to discover greater heights to climb from the new vantage point. That is what makes this journey so exciting.
