What to expect from the upcoming Telegram update for Android

Today at 6 am UTC, the Beta version Telegram for Android (7.6.0) was released, but after 20 minutes this update was recalled by the developer (and users were forced to roll back to the old version).

Attentive users have already noticed the new features, so we're listing all the new features that will likely be in the next update:

- Voice chat recording.
- Voice chats right in the channels.
- Custom names for Voice chats.
- Possibility to raise a hand if a participant has their microphone disabled by administrators.
- The right to launch a voice chat on behalf of the channel (with the ability to choose your profile or any of your channels).
- Voice chats invite links, speaker permission invite links.
- When you swipe up while watching a video file, a mini-player (picture-in-picture) opens.
