Have you ever wondered how we are all connected to the Internet?

Here is a visualised earth submarine fiber optic cable network in 3D.

The whole thing is open sourced as well

10/10 Goodness in the house

So I saw this paid next.js course on frontendmasters by the CEO of Tipe.

And then I thought - wait, the the guy has the course on github so this needs sharing

And here I am: https://hendrixer.github.io/nextjs-course/

Enjoy

Update: Nope. Don't work. Send it to your saved messages instead.

CSS before/after hacks

Great quick list of things you can do with pseudo elements including custom styling for broken images, custom block quotes and custom bullet list (where you can use emojis mind the OS difference though)

Here is an interesting riddle for you people.

You are a freelancer with hourly rate 60 $. You have a client that asks you to do something for them regularly once a year.

Every year you spend 50 hours for this task, and they pay you 3 000 $ to your bank account. Happy days.

This year you spent 10 hours to create a script that automates most of your work and now instead of spending 50 hours, you can do everything in 5 hours. The client doesn't know about such script.

How much $ should you put in your invoice to the company?

Adding poll below in a sec.

Physics behind spring animation

I doubt anyone one can say they know this topic perfectly.

And this is an amazing article to keep you well educated

PS also uses my favourite Framer Motion for examples, what can be better

Revolut GraphQL

Turns out Revolut uses GraphQL under the hood for quite some time.

Don't know how I missed this article.
