2021-05-14 17:07:27 I've heard for a while that areas touched by moonlight (allegedly radiation reflected from the sun) are actually cooler than the areas remaining in shadow, which would suggest that moonlight is something else entirely.

Well I've never seen a better demonstration that this is indeed the case than this simple experiment which appears to put the question completely to rest.

Sunlight warms. Moonlight cools.
