#BREAKING LIVE-SEX RING CHILDREN RESCUED
14 children aged between 2 & 17 have been rescued in the Philippines after investigations into a Victorian man accused of possessing child abuse material.

The case is the latest in a string of arrests and rescues as Australian investigators work with counterparts in the Philippines to crack down on rampant sexual abuse on demand of children from impoverished families for Australian & other international offenders.

Victoria’s Joint Anti-Child Exploitation Team, comprising federal & state police, executed a search warrant on the regional Victorian home of 68-year-old Anthony Scott in March.

During the raid, investigators seized a mobile phone, a hard-drive & a laptop computer for further forensic analysis.

As Assistant Minister for Community Safety, I congratulate law enforcement for working with counterparts to investigate this predator. The Liberal Morrison Government has made it a major priority to protect children in Australia & overseas which is why the Liberal Government put in place laws to target child sex offenders who travel overseas to commit their hideous crimes.
