This is the pattern we've seen over and over again since 2016, from the battle of Sacramento to Charlottesville and MSU, to the January 6th rally and now again with Patriot Front in Philadelphia.
The police in this country are getting orders from the top, whenever right-wing demonstrators march peacefully, with or without a permit, to give violent far-left agitators carte blanche to attack them. When violence ensues, they declare a riot or an unlawful assembly and then use police to crush the right-wing demonstrators, while letting the left rampage out of control. If any leftists are arrested, charges are dropped or they get a slap on the wrist from Jewish or Soros-backed prosecutors, while right-wingers who defend themselves face maximum charges and penalties. In some cases, such as Lee Keltner or Ashli Babbitt, unarmed right-wing White demonstrators have been executed with firearms on video, in broad daylight, with their killers facing zero or minimal charges.
Patriot Front extricated themselves from this deadly trap only with the greatest discipline and self-restrait. But this is the playbook all nationalists and patriots have been facing in the past five years.
This is a major crisis of our constitutional republic. The most basic rights enshrined in the First Amendment---to speak, assemble and petition for redress of grievances---are not only under assault, they are almost dead in this country because another sacred legal principle, that of equal application of the law, has been entirely discarded by our ruling elites. A neo-Bolshevik terror state is being gradually implemented, and most Americans are too distracted or confused to even realize how bad it's getting.
