The International Space Station with ESA’s Columbus laboratory flies 400 km high at speeds that defy gravity – literally. At 28 800 km/h it only takes 92 minutes for the weightless laboratory to make a complete circuit of Earth. Astronauts working and living on the Station experience 16 sunrises and sunsets each day!

Exoplanet GJ1214b. The Water World.

GJ1214b has been identified as an ocean I planet with no land!
The temperature on the planet is around 446 'F (230 'C).
Due to high gravity and I high atmospheric pressure, the water does not boil and evaporate.
Parts of the ocean have been speculated to reach 1,000 miles deep!
GJ is around 40 light-years from Earth.
There's a theory that this planet could have life somewhere in the ocean.

A full NASA space suit costs $12,000,000.

While the entire suit costs a cool $12m, 70% of that cost is for the backpack and control module.

In the multiverse, parallel universes may be nearly identical where everything is the same except the spin of a single atom or they may be wildly different from anything we understand.

But, if there is an infinite multiverse where every possible reality can exist, then doesn't that technically mean every movie you've ever watched, every dream you've ever had, every video game you've ever played, and every TV series you've ever binged are really just documentaries of someone else's life in another universe?

The Four Fundamental Forces of Nature

1. Gravitational Force – Weakest force but has infinite range. (Not part of the standard model). Gravitational force acts between any two pieces of matter in the Universe since mass is its source.

2. Weak Nuclear Force – Next weakest but short range. The weak nuclear force is responsible for radioactive decay and neutrino interactions.

3. Electromagnetic Force – Stronger, with infinite range. The electromagnetic force causes electric and magnetic effects such as the repulsion between like electrical charges or the interaction of bar magnets.

4. Strong Nuclear Force – Strongest but short range.
The Strong Nuclear Force is responsible for holding the nuclei of atoms together.

The largest asteroid in our solar system is a mammoth piece of space rock named Ceres

The asteroid -- which is sometimes known as a dwarf planet -- is almost 600 miles in diameter. It's by far the largest in the Asteroid Belt between Mars and Jupiter and accounts for a whole third of the belt's mass. Ceres' surface area is approximately equal to the land area of India or Argentina.

The uncrewed spacecraft Dawn just finished up its mission orbiting Ceres and helping us totally transform our understanding of the world.

The first asteroid was discovered by Giuseppe piazzi in 1801. The asteroid was first named Ceres Ferdinandea but later was changed to just Ceres. Giuseppe piazzi had named the asteroid partly after king Ferdinand lV.

These four images taken by NASA's Hubble Space Telescope reveal the chaotic birth of stars in the Orion complex, the nearest major star-forming region to Earth.

The protostars were photographed in near-infrared light by Hubble's Wide Field Camera 3. The images were taken Nov. 14, 2009, and Jan. 25, Feb. 11, and Aug. 11, 2010.
