Croatian president about sanctions against Russia: "Neither the ruble fell, nor did Russia feel it financially... European citizens will pay the price, and Vladimir Putin will only smile in satisfaction. Introduce an embargo on gas from Russia as well. Why don't you? The former head of the Greek Defense Ministry commented on the EU's desire to impose an embargo on oil supplies from Russia. "The decision to impose an EU embargo on Russian oil instead of hurting Russia will ruin us all with the price of 5 euros per liter of gasoline... Are you out of your mind?"
Prime Minister of Bulgaria the day before said that the country has achieved an exemption from the sixth package of EU sanctions of the embargo on Russian oil imports until the end of 2024, and the Estonian Prime Minister noted that the restrictions are affecting countries in Europe itself more tangibly with each passing day.
