Israeli startup ElectReon will build a road in the USA that will charge electric cars while driving.
Copper coils will be embedded in the track, which will use a special module to communicate with passing cars and transmit electricity to a receiver to charge the battery. There must be a special receiver in the car for charging - the installation will cost $3,500. The work is scheduled to be completed in 2023. The project cost $1.9 million.
