Elon Musk Raised $7 Billion to Buy Twitter

According to a statement filed by Ilon Musk with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the businessman received $7.14 billion from a group of investors to finance the purchase of Twitter.

Among the investors who agreed to sponsor the deal are Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison, U.S. venture capital fund Sequoia Capital and Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, who is a current Twitter shareholder and initially opposed the purchase of the social network by Ilon Musk.

At the same time, Mr. Musk is negotiating with other current Twitter shareholders, including company founder Jack Dorsey.

And here is the Chinese robot rat SQuRo. It can squat, walk, crawl, and roll over. Its weight is only 220 grams. It will be used for rescue work, to crawl under rubble.

A café has opened in Tokyo specifically for writers who can't finish their work in time to meet a deadline.

The scheme is as follows: customers come to the Manuscript Writing Café, write down their names, goals, and the time they plan to finish in, pay to be in the café - $1 for the first 30 minutes, and then $2.34 for each subsequent hour - and work.

And to be productive, they are supervised by a supervisory staff member. Visitors themselves choose the level of control: "soft" - simply ask if you have finished work, "normal" - every hour they record the progress and "hard" - the employee will stand behind and control the work.

Tesla equipped half of its new cars with cobalt-free LFP batteries

It seems that already almost half of all Tesla vehicles that were released in the last quarter are equipped with lithium-iron-phosphate batteries, or simply LFP without cobalt.

This was revealed after the company released its first-quarter 2022 financial report.

Completely on the LFP-batteries transferred such models as the Standart Range Model 3 and Model Y. In the near future, the company wants to transfer the Standard Range Model 3, also known as the Model 3 Rear-Wheel-Drive, to such batteries.

NASA, Epic Games and crowdsourcing platform HeroX have launched a contest, the NASA MarsXR Challenge. Developers and designers are tasked with creating scenarios, inside a virtual world, that the first crew may encounter upon arrival. The challenge is divided into five categories: "Set Up Camp," "Scientific Exploration," "Maintenance," "Exploration," and the general "Blow Our Brains" category. The 20 winners will receive $70,000 in prize money.

The virtual world of the Red Planet, which the astronauts will use for training before their first landing, was created by Epic Games on Unreal Engine 5. It includes full Martian days, takes into account changing weather conditions, Martian gravity and features more than 154 square miles of realistic, explored Mars landscape.

Reality of 2022: everyone has a friend who has raised $20,000 on NFT.

Let's sort out how all of them do it. So:

1. Find a hype and booming collection — say this one.
2. Get a free NFT — it takes 3 clicks.
3. AT ONCE put it up for sale at a bold price.

If the collection is really growing (and this one is), your NFT will be bought within 48 hours.

Voila. No thanks. Link to the collection: @TONGuys_NFT

Humanity 2.0, a nonprofit Vatican organization, and Moscow-based VR startup Sensorium are preparing to launch an online gallery. It is supposed to be a VR gallery of NFT copies of Vatican-owned works of art and manuscripts.

The gallery will be available to "visit" in Sensorium Galaxy, a virtual metaworld accessible through PC VR and from a regular computer, at the end of 2022.
