Jellyfish against aging

Imagine being able to reverse our aging at any point in our lives.

We would become teenagers again, then children, and finally infants. For Turritopsis dohrnii, a species of jellyfish, this is not a problem.

At any point in their lives, they can reverse aging in a process known as transdifferentiation, return to their earliest form, and then continue living from that point. As far as we know, this process can continue indefinitely.

If nothing threatens the jellyfish, it rejuvenates an average of 10 times in two years.
