●The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and the Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CMERI) have developed the world’s largest solar tree in India.
●A solar tree is a structure where solar modules are planted on a single pillar, which looks like a tree trunk.
●It serves the dual purpose of being an artwork and an energy generator.
●The inclination of the arms holding the PV modules are flexible and can be adjusted- a feature which is not available in rooftop solar systems. Open / Comment

2021-08-11 20:45:17 ●The Global Warming Potential (GWP) for a gas is a measure of the total energy that a gas absorbs over a particular period of time (usually 100 years), compared to carbon dioxide.

●Gases with a higher GWP absorb more energy, per pound, than gases with a lower GWP, and thus contribute more to warming Earth.

●Carbon dioxide (CO2) has a GWP of 1 and serves as a baseline for other GWP values.
