CBSE activates Young Warrior movement to engage five million young people to lead action against COVID-19
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) along with and Sports and Health Ministries as well as YuWaah-UNICEF are activating the nationwide Young Warrior movement to engage five million young people to lead action against COVID-19 and impact 50 million people.
India and Oman renew MoU on military cooperation along with its annexure as well as on maritime issues
India and Oman today renewed the Memoranda of Understanding, MoUs on military cooperation along with its annexure as well as on maritime issues. The signing ceremony of MoU on military cooperation was held at the Ministry of Defense, Muscat. The document was signed by Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense, Oman Dr Mohammed bin Nasser Al Zaabi and Ambassador of India to Oman Munu Mahawar.
Money kept in various cash wallets can be withdrawn from ATM & PoS terminals
Now Money kept in various online wallets like Amazon pay, Ola money, Mobikwik, Phone pe, Delhi Metro Card etc. can be withdrawn using an ATM or Point of Sale Terminal. In a notification issued, Reserve bank of India permitted cash withdrawal of Rs. 2,000 per transaction with maximum limit of Rs. 10,000 per month. Till date RBI has permitted 37 PPIs in country. Now maximum two lakh rupee can be kept in various wallets after completion of full KYC. RBI has also asked all payment instruments providers to ensure interoperability by 31st of March next year.
Suresh Mukund Becomes First Indian to Win Annual ‘World Choreography Award 2020′
The Emmy Award-nominated Indian choreographer Suresh Mukund, has won the 10th Annual ‘World Choreography Award 2020’, (also known as Choreo Awards), becoming the first Indian to win the prestigious honor. Suresh Mukund won the award in the ‘TV REALITY SHOW/COMPETITION’ category, for his work on hit American TV reality show ‘World of Dance’. Mukund is the director and choreographer of Indian dance crew ‘The Kings’, which won 2019 season of World of Dance.
