Two Grumman F-14A Tomcats of VF-33 “Starfighters” fly over the coast of Puerto Rico on 1 April 1990. VF-33 was assigned to USS America (CV-66) and would go on to take part in Operation Desert Storm less than a year after this photo was taken. The Strafighters were one of only two Tomcat squadrons to fly missions from both the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf during Desert Storm.
