2023-04-27 16:59:18 (Wanda's Administrative Assistant here, Theresa!)

Wanted to pop on here and give a little update on behalf of Wanda. She is so thankful for the ongoing prayers and support as she spends this time refreshing her soul, spirit, and body. Revelations are coming and strategies are being put in place as she hears from the Lord and walks through this time of healing and restoration. We can be encouraged that we ARE winning! We ARE WINNERS, as well partners with the Holy Spirit in this journey. We have received many desperate reports from those desiring input in facing their own medical challenges. We extend much grace to you! Now is the time to press in even more to hear the Lord's voice and understand His revelations. Keep exercising your Trust muscles!

Proverbs 3:5-6:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.

Wanda looks forward to sharing this journey and what she has learned when she returns from this sabbatical. In the meantime, we continue to post clips from previously posted videos, as well as previous prophetic words which are now coming to pass. These are being shared on her YouTube channel (under "Latest Videos") and in Wanda's Weekly Newsletter (which we are sending every few weeks during this pause). I am sharing the latest clip we just posted from this past Sunday at Crossroads. Wanda had a powerful dream about the Religious Spirit and offered a prayer at the end of our morning service.

This is a wonderful community of believers who have stood together during the good and the hard times. Continue to stand with one another in all your encouragement, during this time. It is a blessing to see the "family" in action!

2023-04-13 15:03:33 Important update for the HEALING AND DELIVERANCE CONFERENCE in Findlay, OH, April 28-29:

After much prayer and consideration, I feel the Lord has directed me to cancel my speaking engagement in Findlay, Ohio during this 3-month sabbatical. I do apologize to those who made special plans to attend to hear me speak. When I first announced my "pause," I truly thought I could fulfill this commitment. But, due to my ongoing healing process and need for rest, it is necessary. (At the time of this posting, the hosting ministry still hopes to move forward with another featured speaker.)

To those who continue to pray for me - Thank You! Your prayers are working! I am not only being healed of this ear ringing (hallelujah!), but being delivered, set free, and restored in spirit, soul, mind, and body! I will have MUCH to share upon my return:-). Until then - stand firm in your faith and fixed on His promises. He NEVER fails!

2023-03-22 23:26:40 This interview I just did with Pastor Dave Hess is incredible. For those who say that pastors aren't standing up to governmental overreach, this one certainly is. Pastor Dave is a mercy-hearted pastor that is not a confrontational person. But, he describes how the power of God's love burned in him when realizing how people were being hurt, harmed, and even killed through COVID, CRT, and transgenderism (to cite a few). He's been tested numerous times, and each time comes out with a stronger zeal of the Lord and determination to stand for truth. This is a must see - and definitely one to share.

2023-03-22 15:47:03 A comment on the concern about "new age practices" often cited by those critical of supernatural encounters and personal experiences...

To assess any of these concerns accurately, these practices need to be cited individually rather than dumped all together. Yes, there can be an unhealthy mixture of unscriptural practices, but just because something is "supernatural" or outside the realm of our "normal" Christian experience doesn't necessarily make it anti-biblical. Peter fell into a trance (Acts 10:10, 11:5). Philip was transported by the Spirit to another place (Acts 8:39). Believers spoke with angels/the angel of the Lord (Matthew 28:1-7, Luke 1:11-19; 26-35, Rev 19:9-10) Ezekiel was "taken up" to heavenly places (Ezekiel 11:24), as was Paul (2 Cor 12:2). These are some of the things that "new agers" do, as well. It's not the experience as much as the source behind these encounters and their purpose that will set them apart as either holy or compromised. We are specifically forbidden from interacting with psychics and speaking with the dead (Leviticus 19:31 and Isaiah 8:19), and fortune-telling and "omens"/horoscopes (2 Chronicles 33:6). But these are quite different from having an encounter with Jesus, interacting with angels, being taken to heaven, or having a physical manifestation of the Spirit.

There are no easy answers here and there are dangers. We simply must realize that God's realm is not "normal." I think the danger comes when we create doctrines around experiences and impose expectations that everyone should experience these things. If they become central to our conversation, we're getting sidetracked (that's when it can even become idolatry). At the same time, our personal testimony is extremely powerful and I believe supernatural encounters can further the message of the Kingdom as long as we keep the "main thing" the "main thing." As long as these encounters serve to draw us closer to Christ, increase our faith, and love Him and others more, we shouldn't be so suspicious.

Lastly, I can tell you that those who are called to prophetic ministry will usually have a higher measure of interaction in the supernatural realm. But, each one must steward this carefully so that any experience or encounter does not become the focus of their message. For me - I've interacted with angels in my dreams, been transported to other places, and tangibly felt the Lord's touch. But that's not my focus. I look for the message in each of these encounters that can serve to inspire and empower others in their walk with the Lord. I purpose to stay grounded in the Word. But I also want to KNOW Him - not just know about Him:-).

Hope that helps someone....

2023-03-21 19:38:55 THE NAR AND THE RELIGIOUS SPIRIT

I’ve received numerous emails asking if I am a part of "the NAR” (New Apostolic Reformation). In response, I did a short video with a brief description of the NAR, some scriptural considerations, and my personal belief as to what’s driving this concern (click on link for full article and video).

In short, I believe that Jesus perfectly modeled how we are to do ministry. He not only gave five leadership gifts to the Church for maturing and equipping the saints (Ephesians 4:11-12), but He commanded all who followed Him to heal the sick, raise the dead, and cast out demons (Matthew 10:8). He knew perfectly well that His disciples would record His ministry for the generations that followed and was very clear on His instructions - with no expiration date.

This issue continues to arise whenever revival is mentioned or supernatural manifestations occur. Thus, it's going to increase in the days to come! I personally believe it is the Religious Spirit that is fueling this opposition. It is because of the supernatural aspect of these ministries (apostles, prophets, and supernatural gifts), the Pharisees of today and religious teachers of the law will not accept anything they can’t prove through their own intellect and training. I believe there is a spirit of jealousy among many religious teachers today who are threatened by the supernatural. The same demonic spirit of unbelief that operated during Jesus’ ministry is still operating today through many religious leaders unable to surrender their human intellect and pride to that which they can’t explain or control. That may seem harsh, but I'm speaking of demonic spirits and principalities. And they constantly look for frustrated leaders who can become hosts to their deceptive lies.

I actually agree with some of the arguments presented by those who oppose the “NAR.” There are misrepresentations of truth and unhealthy practices that need to be addressed. But that doesn’t negate God’s intentions for apostolic and prophetic leaders and the supernatural signs that follow those who believe (Mark 16:17-18). Our negative experiences should never determine what’s true and bad examples should never be the basis for establishing doctrine. The blueprint for Kingdom authority has been given through the early church leaders and the spiritual principles for operating in the Spirit still apply. But it requires a servant’s heart, mutual accountability, and humility on everyone’s part.

I suggest we get past our personal offenses and negative reactions and prepare to champion this unseen Kingdom that is now being revealed. Instead of trying to rewrite the model, let’s just practice what Jesus did and do what He commanded. The fruit and long-lasting impact will speak for itself.
