The big sea turtle has been rescued and is swimming out to sea!⠀
How did the turtle end up on the beach in the first place? It is a male, judging by the length of its tail, and they, unlike females, never make it onto land from the sea in their lives. It was probably swimming too close to the shore and got caught in the surf, which carried it onto the sand, flipping it onto its back.

The sea turtle cannot get out of this situation by itself; it has no choice but to lie down and wait for the next high tide, and the scorching sun can cause severe dehydration within a few hours.

Good thing people were there to help the turtle get back to the sea!
