As part of our series aimed at developing a roadmap for the enactment of the Yeonsu Declaration for Learning Cities, adopted at the fifth International Conference on Learning Cities (ICLC 5) in October 2021, the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) and the UNESCO Chair on Global Health and Education invite you to the first webinar of our webinar series entitled ‘Lifelong Learning for health: Enacting the Yeonsu Declaration for Learning Cities’ which will take place on Wednesday, 1 June 2022, and to participate in a unique opportunity to engage in Lifelong Learning for Health (LLLH) policy discussions on an international and multi-sectoral platform.

The webinar series seeks to serve as the foundation of a roadmap which will provide concrete steps on the conceptualization, development, and implementation of LLLH policies on the local level in line with the Yeonsu Declaration.
The first webinar will look at ways of conceptualizing lifelong learning for health (LLLH) so that it can be adapted to different city contexts. Raising awareness of the importance of cities for spearheading LLLH initiatives, including initiatives promoting health literacy and citizenship for health, will also be addressed. In addition, the webinar will explore the plausibility of establishing city-level intersectoral taskforces who oversee LLLH policy.
There will be three webinars in the series. Each one will be streamed via Zoom from 13:00 to 14:30 (CEST).
