R583 million (USD 40 million) worth of cocaine has been seized on a fishing vessel off the coast of Saldanha, Western Cape on Monday evening.
Ten men, four from Bulgaria and six from Myanmar, were arrested and charged with dealing in drugs during the late night raid.
Altogether 973 blocks of compressed cocaine were found in three compartments of the vessel.
