Attempts to "debunk" Russian footage of Ukrainian M777 howitzers is revealed as sloppy and in desperate need of its own debunking.

Footage mashed together and not attributed has been used to cast doubt on a drone and artillery attack on a Ukrainian M777 battery out in the field.

The clip is actually two separate clips presented separately during a briefing given by the Russian Ministry of Defense and even covered in Newsweek.

Update for Russian military operations in Ukraine for May 21, 2022:

1. Ukrainian militants in the Azovstal steel works have unconditionally surrendered numbering between hundreds (current Red Cross count) to thousands according to Russian sources;
2. Mariupol has been secured by Russia since mid to late-April - Ukraine finally admits however that its “combat operations” have fully ended;
3. Russia continues to make progress in the Donbas region - Ukrainian forces are being encircled in Severodonestsk and Lysychansk - the salient around Papasnya is expanding both west and north as part of this major encirclement;
4. Pentagon admits Russia still poses the majority of its combat power - possess a “numerical advantage” over Ukraine - and is making “slow, uneven” progress, but progress nonetheless;
5. Kharkov “offensive” has either stalled or is in the process of being rolled back;
6. US M777 howitzers have been found, tracked, targeted, and destroyed by Russian forces;
7. Additional attempts to send heavy weapons will face similar technical, tactical, strategic, and manpower challenges;

The US military is putting together what it calls “multi-domain operations” which include traditional air, land, and sea domains, but also space and cyberspace. They are also creating “Multi-Domain Task Forces” to overcome Chinese and Russian defenses to allow the US to act with “freedom” globally.

However, the US has already been perfecting “multi-domain operations” in shaping, coercing, and subordinating the world for years. Through the use of organizations like the National Endowment for Democracy it has waged constant war against peer and near-peer competitors like Russia and China indirectly, as well as indirect war against their allies.

Such full-spectrum warfare requires full-spectrum national defense policies.

I speak midway and at the very end, noting that instead of remaining neutral and avoiding war, as NATO members they will be forced to send their soldiers abroad to die in NATO's wars of aggression.

1. Russia continues to make slow and steady progress in Donbas, the primary area of Russia’s focus;
2. Additional Russian salients and encirclements take shape within the much largers Izyum, Lyman, Severodonetsk, Papasnya cauldron area;
3. Ukrainian “offensive” northeast of Kharkov appears to have been a costly photo-op and little more;
4. Ukrainian militants hiding in the Azovstal industrial complex begin to surrender dealing a mostly political blow to Ukraine;
5. Ukrainian militants had long since been out of the fight (since mid to late-April);
6. Pentagon claims most M777 howitzers are already on the front in Kharkov and Donbas;
7. US M777s have yet to make any discernible difference on the battlefield;
8. Pentagon admits Russia still has the majority of its combat power prepared against Ukraine available to it;
