2022-09-25 18:29:08 Out of T-72s - NATO Begins Sending 1940-era T-55s

I have seen Western commentators mockingly joke about the inevitability of Russia sending T-55s - which first went into service in the 1940s - to fight in Ukraine.

The irony is that it is now NATO sending T-55s to Ukraine.

Slovenia is reportedly sending 28 T-55s ("modernized" in the 1990s) to Ukraine.

28 tanks is meager, Ukraine has lost more in a single day to Russian firepower.

Does it even need to be said that deadly riots in Iran are sponsored by Washington following Iranian aid to Russia in Ukraine?

If US policymakers drew up plans to attack Russia and all of Russia's allies in the 2019 RAND paper "Extending Russia," then Iran wasn't mentioned because it got its own paper, Brookings Institution's 2009 "Which Path to Persia?"

US sponsored unrest, terrorism, sanctions, fake deals (the Iran Nuclear Deal) were all explicitly mentioned. Open / Comment

2022-09-25 04:16:09 I was in Gorlovka today to watch people in that hard-hit northern city cast their votes, and to speak to them about their opinions on the referendum. Echoes of yesterday: they want peace, an end to Ukraine's shelling of their city for over 8 years, they want to join Russia...(videos to follow when I have time to subtitle & upload).

The city was being shelled before I arrived, but not heavily while there. Early this morning, however, a district of the city was shelled around 6 am, the shell landing near a city bus & exploding its windows, particularly the windshield in front of the driver's seat. Fortunately, he was luckier than the central Donetsk driver 2 days ago who was destroyed by the Ukrainian-fired shell, along with 5 other civilians in the area.

Western analysts keep citing 3 months to retrain reservists mobilized ahead of deployment to front.

I would say former military members (already having received basic and specialized training) would need between 2 weeks to a month (maximum) to refresh their memories on basics.

Three months is EXTREMELY LUXURIOUS!

Basic training for a US Marine is 3 months, the longest basic training in the US military - why would men who already served need that much time to refresh their memories?

Western analysts claiming 2 weeks training reflects "Russian desperation" are clearly analysts who never served in the military. Open / Comment

2022-09-23 09:53:51 Voting has started in Donetsk. I just went to Kalinskiy district where voting started at 8:30 am. Pretty straight forward: people show their ID, write their home address, get a ballot and cast their yes or no, behind a shield for their privacy, put the ballot in a sealed container.

Of course, western pundits have already decided this is this is sham referendum, but the people here don't care what the west says. The west has been arming Ukraine, which is is raining bombs down on Donetsk, killing 6 people yesterday, 16 people Monday, 4 people Saturday...and thousands over the past 8 years. Enough is enough, the people are voting and don't be surprised if the results are for the DPR to join Russia. Open / Comment
