#speaking tip

Have you been struggling to improve your fluency? Here are the three tips that I could give you:

1. Improve your knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. Let's be honest, we often mumble and pause when we lack enough words to speak. I see many people associating the root of problem with other factors but they often fail to see the truth. Improve your language in the first place

2. Gain Confidence. Even people with advanced language level sometimes have problems speaking fluently when they talk in unfamiliar contexts to strange people. The point here is that they are afraid of making mistakes. Don't be shy and make best of every single opportunity to practise your language skills with others so that you could become more confident with your skills

3. Practice, practice and practice. No matter how often we talk about its importance, that will never suffice. You don't need partners in this stage, just talk to yourself in front of mirror

The best feeling ever when I recieve such messages from the parents of my students.

This year alone over 5 students of our academy have been admitted to American universities. Among them, Makhliyo Jumaniyazova has been found to be a recipient of EYUF scholarship and Asadbek has won almost full scholarship from the university itself.

Our students rock

2022-04-27 08:34:11 Did you know that there is a difference between "information" and "data"?!

Data is a collection of facts, while information puts those facts into context.
E.g. After analysing data we collected from our survey, we learned much information about eating habits of young people

Data, on its own, is meaningless. When it’s analyzed and interpreted, it becomes meaningful information.

In short, data is collected while information is learnt

And here is the most important difference:

Data typically comes in the form of graphs, numbers, figures, or statistics. Information is typically presented through words, language, thoughts, and ideas.

So, the word data is better used in IELTS writing Task1 while information is more suitable for Task2

I found many people misprounce this word:

Gigantic- very large
e.g. She has a gigantic appetite

2022-04-25 17:06:27 NOTE: Cambridge Dictionary is awfully bad. Genuinely, I cannot understand why anyone recommends it. Firstly the layout is poor, secondly the definitions are not accurate or clear enough and thirdly, they often get the phonetic transcripts wrong.
