Apple is being sued over the "jelly scrolling" in the iPad

U.S. resident Christopher Bryan filed a class action lawsuit against Apple, accusing the company that it put the iPad mini 6 on sale, despite the familiar problem of "jelly effect", reports MacRumors.

In September 2021 experts iFixit disassembled the iPad mini 6 and confirmed the complaints of first buyers of the tablet about the "jelly scrolling", with the left side of the display noticeably lags behind the right when scrolling in portrait orientation. At the time, an Apple spokesperson said that this was "normal behavior for LCD screens."

The lawsuit seeks damages for any owner of a sixth-generation iPad mini who bought it in the U.S.
