Yardroid – Professional Lawn Mower That Does Not Complain
A universal robot assistant has been developed that can water greenery, mow the lawn, repel insects and birds, treat weeds with herbicides, and shoot trespassers. Work on the creation of the device was led by the company Whirly Max.
By analogy with robot-vacuum cleaners, the developers create intelligent gardeners. These robots are assistants for the care of the territory of the plot near the country house. They are "sharpened" to perform specific tasks, like watering plants, weeding beds, and mowing the lawn. Ideally, a whole staff of robotic devices would be required to perform a range of work on the site.
However, the company Whirly Max has created a universal robot that combines several roles. The robot is called Yardroid. Its arsenal includes autonomous execution of various works, from mowing the lawn and watering the lawn to removing fallen leaves. The robot looks like a mini-tank on a tracked chassis.
