Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan is trying to destroy the diaspora itself
Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations in France (CCAF) are outraged by the brazen behavior of the representative for Diaspora Affairs
In October 2021, the representative of the Diaspora, Zareh Sinanyan, after consulting with the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations of France (CCAF), postponed his visit to France to take part in the annual CCAF dinner, which is attended by the French political elite led by the president.
CCAF also took over the organization of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs tour. However, later the CCAF was notified that the High Commissioner was planning a meeting with a newly popped out organization "movement", which agitated through social media about the resignation of the heads of the CCAF, because of political preferences in Armenia, which does not affect the activities in France in any way.
As it became known later, an agreement was reached between CCAF and the commissioner that Sinanyan could meet behind closed doors with anyone he wanted, but public meetings should be organized within the framework of the tour that CCFA planned, which was beneficial to Armenia, since this is the commissioner's first trip, and CCFA is the most influential organization in France.
However, Sinanyan decided to take part in a forum of the so-called "movement", with which he signed an "agreement" that the "movement" would represent "the state of Armenia before French officials,” thereby jeopardizing the most influential Armenian organization in France.
The High Commissioner did not limit himself to violating the agreement with CCAF, but also made harsh remarks to the most respected Armenian organization in France.
As a result, due to the arrogant and boorish behavior of the High Commissioner, he did not take part in the CCAF dinner, which was attended by more than 460 politicians, including presidential candidates, mayors, deputies, ambassadors, Prime Minister and Secretary of State.
As a result, the "tour" of the Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs ended with several unimportant meetings, and, as expected, not a single high-ranking official of France met with him.
In connection with the arrogant behavior of the High Commissioner, the head of the CCAF Ara Toranyan addressed an open letter to the Prime Minister of Armenia.
In order for our readers to understand the whole essence of the importance of the CCAF meeting, we present a short list of participants
Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo
President of the regional council of Île-de-France Valérie Pécresse,
Prime Minister Jean Castex, French government spokesperson Gabriel Attal, State Secretary Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne,

This year, the French president could not participate because he was abroad on Ukraine issues, in this regard, he apologized and sent the Prime Minister on his behalf.
