Is it possible to sneak onto the apron of a sophisticated international airport? Is it possible to bypass security of an airport?
The answer is "It is possible." "With the help of a ladder."

An impending event will happen soon and is usually bad or unpleasant.

The storm is impending.- Надвигается гроза.

Pilots tried to prevent the impending catastrophe.- Пилоты пытались предотвратить катастрофу.

A Sudanese flight crew was surprised when they found an odd kind of passenger was in their cockpit, half an hour after the Tarco flight took off from Khartoum International Airport bound to Hamad International Airport in Doha. It was a cat!

A source told the Al-Sudani that the flight took off from Khartoum Airport, on its way to the Qatari capital and after half an hour had passed, a cat was spotted in the cockpit. It's alleged that the cat attacked the captain, which forced him to turn the flight back towards Khartoum Airport, in a unique incident.

Information obtained by Al-Sudani revealed that the plane was standing in the hanger at Khartoum Airport the first night before it was to fly to Doha and, according to sources, the cat must have gotten into the cabin of the plane during the cleaning work or the engineering review of the aircraft.

To use a preposition FROM after "suffer" or not?

SUFFER can have different meanings

1)To experiene or to show something bad
We suffered engine failure.
Passengers suffered minor injuries.
If you do it like this, you will suffer the consequences.

2)to experience physical or mental pain
He suffered a lot when his wife left him.
But!!!
He suffers FROM asthma.(he is ill with asthma)
He has been suffering FROM cancer.(he is ill with cancer)

So,when we use FROM, we show the cause why we suffer.

In terms of Aviation English, when we speak about failures,it will be without a preposition.

We suffered electrical system failure.(=we experienced).
We suffer engine failure.(=we have it,we experience it).
We suffered difficulties last flight.(=we had them,we experienced them).

But!!! when we speak about a particular illness or disability,it will be SUFFER FROM.
She suffers from headache.
He suffers from flue.

You can't imagine how I am sick and tired of the word "dangerous".
Guys, make your speech more colorful, try to use the synonyms of Dangerous.
-perilous(очень опасный)
-treacherous (опасный, угрожающий)
-hazardous (опасный)
-alarming(опасный,тревожный)
- threatening (опасный, угрожающий)
-parlous (опасный,затрудняющий)
-precarious (опасный, ненадежный)

Remember that we don't use preposition FROM in this phrase.

They claim they have suffered engine failure.- Они заявляют об отказе двигателя.

I have noticed that my students have no problems with explanation what RW incursion is but there are a lot of difficulties with RW excursion.

RW excursion is an incident when a plane exits the RW not in an appropriate way. I would say there are 2 types of RW excursion - veering off the RW or overrunning.

Veer-Off: Excursion in which an aircraft departs the side of a runway

Overrun: Excursion in which an aircraft departs the end of a runway.

There is another good phrase for the 5th level.
It means that something will happen soon.

I wish all aviators to renew the flights as soon as possible. Hope that it is just around the corner.

I have noticed that my students are often confused with this phrasal verb. Not ON preposition but OFF is used here. It is a phrasal verb and here preposition really matters.
e.g.
Alarm goes off
Alarm went off
Alarm will go off
Alarm has gone off
