On Clubhouse it is now possible to chat with other users while you are listening to someone in the audio room. After joining a room you can find a little Paper Airplane icon button that will open a backstage (chat).

This feature allows you to share a common clipboard across the SwiftKey and your Windows devices. For this feature to work you will also need to sign in to your Microsoft account. It can be turned on in Settings inside the Rich input > Clipboard section.

This update is rolling out gradually to all users and should arrive if you have version 332* or above. Some of the settings were renamed and reorganised into different categories. Now you can also browse more settings on your screen at a time b/c they don't have descriptions anymore.

2021-08-04 13:27:03 Discord now allows creating and browsing Threads under channels on Android

There you can start a thread via a long tap on the channel name. This feature is not enabled on all community servers yet but will arrive on August 17. Some community servers could have it enabled in the early access mode.

After navigating to the channel thread section you will see the list of active and archived threads. If you have permission, from there you will be able to create a thread yourself.

2021-08-04 00:11:50 DuckDuckGo email protection beta is out for first users

In order to check if you got it or not, you can open the app and see if you will receive a push notification with the announcement. For some reason, I didn't receive any push until that.

From the onboarding screen, you will be asked to pick your @duck.com email address and specify your normal email address. Your normal email address will start receiving redirected emails from the @duck.com address if you used it somewhere with all email trackers being removed.

Facebook is enhancing the Business Suite app again by copying more and more functionality from its main Facebook app. This time it got a news feed for Pages available from the app itself. It can be found in the "More Tools" view. There you can browse and follow the news sources that you track specifically from the Page you manage.

In version 10.8.06 you will be able to find a new section on the settings page that is dedicated to Emojis, Stickers & GIFs. All the settings inside did exist before but now it should be easier to access them.

2021-08-01 20:12:11 Instagram released a possibility to rename Reels audio along with new tests being available to some users

Now, when creating a Reel with original audio, users can choose to add a custom name to it. This name can be changed once and it will be displayed near the audio thumbnail on the Reel itself. This option can be on the Reel posting screen. Initially, it was spotted on iOS in July and now it seems to start being available on Android as well.

2021-07-31 22:54:33 Twitter Alpha removed a possibility of creating Fleets on Android

As it was announced in July, Twitter is going to discontinue Fleets feature in August 2021. The recent Alpha update version 9.6.0 came along without an option of creating Fleets. Instead, there you can find a "Start a Space" button. It also got coloured in a purple way so you can relate it to Spaces straight away.

YouCut video editor now allows you to add pictures or other videos to videos that you make in a picture in picture mode. This will allow you to add you camera captures on top of screen sharing recordings in case if you want to make them separate. Adding backgrounds and frames to your videos should be easier as well.
