- why do you not look like the photo in your app form ( shaved ), already we have a lot of Information to deal with, more confusion you're creating...do you agree our jobs should me made easier and not more difficult?
- questions on dropping marks from 10th-UG?
- meaning of your name? Cross qs on that
- what is an instrument? Answered.
- then what is a device?
- is a device an instrument?
- lot of back and forth on this with examples, he gave his answer, I gave mine, both of us dissatisfied at the end
- what subjects interested you?
- what is a transducer?
- what is a modem? Does any signal processing happen in that?
- can analog signals be transferred through vacuum?
- major stock exchanges in india?
- what is nifty 50?
- what is PE? if it is high what should one do?
- what information do you use for your trading?
- Your percentage returns?
( I didn't know the fundamental aspects of trading, so I took him on a quantitative side of things which I actually do, talked at length on it, he was listening, in the end nodded and said good good )

Panel: All ISB alumni 1M 2F (all late 20s and early 30s)

It wasn't like an interview at all
It was more like a friendly conversation

Firstly they asked how long I had to wait in the waiting room
Where I travelled from to attend the interview
They ranted and joked about Mumbai traffic and roads

Then they asked if I was working in Mumbai and that opened up to why I wasn't working for the past year. I explained what all I did and they got the picture that I took a gap year and basically found myself and ready to get back into the workforce

Then they asked what I exactly did in my last job, went very deep in such a way that they were trying to understand me and my workex real life applications

Then they asked about my experience as a leader at some point in my life
I brought up my dance club thing and they immediately shifted to asking what dance means to me
I shared a lot of instances and they were really indulged in my story

Few jokes here and there too, how they were embarrassed to dance and all

They said "So we now understand that you're a very passionate person"

Then they asked about what I'm planning after MBA. I talked about wanting to become an investment banker and they asked if I know what investment banking means
I fumbled a bit but they helped me know what it really is
I turned around saying that uncertainty is what propels me to strive for my goal, makes me learn a lot and realise who I am and what I want

Then they asked why ISB and I told some points. Some light follow up questions here and there

Any questions for us?
- Any advice to someone who just got an admit into ISB so that their life at ISB is smoother?

They told a few basic things and that's it

The interview was more about who I am and if I'm the same person that those essays described me as and whether I'm clear about what my goals are

15. The prices of H2SO4 are declining, why is it so?
Told them don't know. Then they told to think about it from refining side.
Then answered through Russian oil, sourness of crude, and supply demand. Looked satisifed and told that I explained in great detail

16. You are doing great in chemical engineering, why do you want to do an MBA?
