Dear spiritual children, we live in difficult times of globalization, in times of trampling on basic human rights - human rights to life, the right of the child to be born, the right of parents to raise and care for their child, the right of a mother to be a caring mother to her husband, the right of a man to be a man! A monstrous globalist civilization is being created according to perverted morals, without the yeast of the eternal meaning of human life. Such a civilization, as long as it is contrary to the risen Christ and his gentle teaching, cannot survive.

With that in mind, let us be wise and careful as we approach the unhealthy table of this world’s offerings. Let us choose from it only that which is valuable for Christ and worthy of our vocation and dignity. Let us reject everything pseudo-civilizational, twisted and inhumane, just as Christ rejected the offer of the tempter on the Mount of Temptation: if you worship me, all that you see will be yours! We know the right answer: It is written: serve God only and worship Him alone!

In lieu of any fulfillment or meaning in your real life, you can retreat into our digital mindscape where you can pretend to have it.

Metaverse has nothing to offer over real life if your real life is good & fulfilling. The only hope for Zucc's marketing strategy is to prey on the emptiness felt by so many in industrial society.

With Millennials/Zoomers expecting to spend their lives with worse financial outlook than parents, and ruling classes calling for a general reduction in living standards for commoners, they need a bandaid for that malaise. They really want people to live like this.

It won't work on those of us with fulfillment, but sadly we are in the minority.

I am intrigued by the kind of people who would sit down, brainstorm that ad, put it together, and go "yup, looks good" before sending it off to be shown to millions of people.

The survival of humankind is not dependent on the number of people who accept or reject the true faith, but rather that those who do, activate the fermentation, for just as yeast acts as a starter for bread, so faith in Christ can transform the world, and the entire cosmos. 16. The arrogant intellect is justly made the object of wrath, that is to say, it is abandoned by God, as I have already described, and the demons are permitted to plague it during contemplation.

This happens so that it may become aware of its own natural weakness and recognize the grace and divine power which shields it and which accomplishes every blessing; and so that it may also learn humility, utterly discarding its alien and unnatural pride.

If this indeed happens, then the other form of wrath - the withdrawal of graces previously given - will not visit it, because it has already been humbled and is now conscious of Him who provides all blessings.

22. Anyone whose heart exults because of the divine gifts he has received, and who preens himself as though those gifts were his own and had not been received (cf. 1 Cor. 4:7), justly calls down wrath on himself.

God permits the devil to entangle his intellect, to undermine the virtuous quality of his conduct, and to obscure the luminous principles of spiritual knowledge during his contemplation. This is to make him realize his own weakness and recognize the one Power capable of defeating the passions in us.

If this happens, he may repent and be brought to a state of humility, discarding his load of conceit and being reconciled with God. Then he will avert the wrath that falls on those who do not repent, that takes away the grace which guards their souls, and leaves their ungrateful minds destitute.
