*Foxconns India subsidiary files draft papers for Rs 5000Cr IPO*
Taiwanese mobile phone maker Foxconns Indian unit Bharat FIH Ltd filed draft papers for a proposed public listing in India to raise as much as Rs 5003.8Cr on Wednesday. The proposed initial share sale aims to raise Rs 2501.9Cr of fresh caital. In addition, a Foxconn unit holding shares of Bharat FIH will divest a portion of its stake to raise an equal amount.

Centre asks states to impose night curfew:
The Centre has asked states to impose night curfew and strictly regulate large gatherings amid a surge in cases of the Omicron coronavirus variant in different parts of country. The move comes a day after WTO warned the increased social mixing over the holiday period in many countries would lead to a spike in cases, overwhelm health systems and result in more deaths.

*Virus shadow again looms over airlines, travel sectors*
The emergence of the highly contagious Omicron variant of the Coronavirus has thrown a spanner in the world for Indias civil aviation and travel sectors, which were starting to rebound from 2 deadly waves of pandemic. The rapid spread of Omicron has led the government to roll back a planned resumption of scheduled international flights from 15 December. A fresh date has not been announced.
